In 2024, thanks to a joint project of the Ecological Science and Education Center at the Sofia Zoo and DSK Bank and MasterCard, an online platform with educational resources about the zoo and the endangered species that are kept there was created. It can be used by all teachers, parents and visitors. The platform is freely accessible via computer (there is no mobile version).

The platform contains information about the zoo (history, map, animals, signs), games, puzzles and coloring materials, which are suitable for children from 7 to 12 years old, but also for all curious visitors. All of them can be freely downloaded, printed and used during a visit to the Sofia Zoo, thus making the children’s experience even more fulfilling, fun and educational.

The materials are systematized in separate sections and can be used for group or individual activities at the zoo.

The educational materials are the work of the team of the Ecological Scientific and Educational Center – Dr. Katerina Zareva – Simeonova, Hristina Todorova – Filipova and Natali Haralampieva, as well as the artist Lyubka Marinkova and the team of Noble Graphics OOD. The platform builds on the mobile game called “Mission ZooDetectives”, created by DSK Bank and MasterCard, in which you can join by scanning a QR code from special signs for the game at the zoo.
