Winter working hours

/November – March/

Ticket Office hours:  8:30 – 16:30

Visitor stay: until 17:00

Exhibition Hall hours: 9:00 – 16:30 

Sofia Zoo is open 7 days a week, including all national holidays and weekends.

Summer working hours

/April – October/

Ticket Office hours: 9:30 – 18:00

Visitor stay: until 19:00

Exhibition Hall hours: 9:30 – 18:30

How to get to the zoo

Dear visitors, you can use public transport when planning your visit to Sofia Zoo. The options are as follows:

With line 2 of the Sofia Metropolitan you can get to the Vitosha metro station, from where with bus lines 64, 66, 68, 83, 88, 98, 120, 288, 805 you can reach the Western entrance of the zoo (1 Srebarna Street).

The central entrance of the zoo is located near Simeonovsko Shose Blvd. and can be reached by buses 67 and 102 (stop “Dianabad district”).
