The Ecological Center works with organized groups of students from 1st to 12th grade (no more than 30 children) from Monday to Friday, and teachers must contact us two weeks in advance to request their visit. The Ecological Center team offers a thematic educational tour or presentation (in Bulgarian or English) for a group of up to 30 students (by prior request) from Monday to Friday (except for official holidays and the period in which the Summer Zoo School is held). The price of this service is 36 leva (VAT included) and is paid at the zoo cash desk together with the group’s entrance tickets.

The presentations are on topics related to animals (“Endangered Animals in the Sofia Zoo”, “Records in the Animal World”, “History of the Sofia Zoo”, “The Profession of Zoo Keeper”, etc.).

The educational tours are in the sectors “Birds”, “Primates”, “Big Cats”, “Predators”, “Herbivores”, “Giants”, “Terrarium and Aquarium”. Each tour is held in only one sector of the group’s choice.

Ecological games – the team of the Ecological Center has also developed interesting ecological games related to biodiversity and species conservation.

The classes are suitable for children over 7 years of age and have a maximum duration of 1 hour. The teachers who accompany the students must be present during the classes.
