Zooclub “Noah” was established in 2000 with the aim of attracting students (from 1st to 12th grade) who are interested in zoology and the activities of the zoo. The club’s activities include lectures on environmental and conservation topics, given by members of the center’s team or by external lecturers, researchers and biologists. In addition to interesting multimedia presentations, club members also have practical classes, such as creating environmental enrichment for zoo animals, meetings with keepers and animals, making feeders and nesting boxes for wild birds, ethological observations, etc. The program also includes ecological games and thematic creative workshops. The zooclub’s meetings are held from early October to mid-May every Sunday (excluding public holidays and vacations) at the Sofia Zoo.

During the 2025/2026 school year The classes of the Noah Zoo Club will be held on Sundays between 10:30 and 12:30 in the period from October 5, 2025 to May 17, 2026 (excluding official holidays and student vacations) at the Sofia Zoo. Registration and the first class for the new school year will begin on October 5 – Sunday at 10:30 in the building of the Ecological Center at the Zoo. Children must be accompanied by a parent who will fill out an application and declaration and bring a photo for the membership card. Children must be at least in 1st grade and have school habits and a strong interest in zoology. Registration will continue until the places are filled.
